New look and feel, mobile friendly, sensitive documents and more

Here at Unifiedpost we care about user experience and we decided to give Adminbox a well deserved upgrade. With a mobile-first mentality we have rethought the whole user experience while keeping some of the familiar charm. In the digital age, trustworthy communications and compliance with regulatory changes are becoming increasingly important. The new version of Adminbox covers the needs of both our users and clients in that area.

Improvement

New look and feel

We challenged ourselves to not merely deliver a new look and feel but also an improved overall experience.

Key highlights are:

  • Fully responsive experience. The user interface takes into account available screen size to optimize the experience on both mobile and desktop devices.

  • Focus on action. The inbox is now split into 2 sections: The Overview section contains all documents and Tasks section only active tasks that require an action.

  • Focus on time-sensitivity. Users will intuitively find all key actions, with an emphasis on the ones that have priority.

Improvement

Mobile friendly design

More than 75% of our users come from mobile devices. That’s why we have applied mobile-first design practices to improve the experience for the users that are accessing Adminbox on-the-go.

This resulted in an interface that is both optimized for mobile as desktop devices, with all major capabilities available on both types of devices.

Improvement

New login experience

To improve security and allow users to login to all our products with the same credentials, the login experience has been updated. Now users can:

  • Set up more secure passwords

  • Use Google 2 Factor Authentication

  • Link an email address to their account if they didn’t already

New Feature

Sensitive documents

Some documents received in Adminbox contain sensitive information. These documents are now marked as such and can be spotted thanks to a lock icon. To view these documents, users will be prompted to add 2-factor authentication to their account.

New Feature

Attachments

Files (csv, xml, pdf, img) can now be attached to documents. Each document type is recognizable thanks to an icon and are available as one-click downloads.
