If your customers often request modifications to quotes, it is possible to work with versions of quotes. In a new version, your quote will keep the quote number, but the document will go from an A version to a B version, etc.

This way you retain the entire history of the quote and you can return to a previous version of the quote at any time.

In a quote, click on the Actions button and then select "New version".

Tip To be able to create a new version of a quote, your quote needs to be in the status "Draft" or "Sent".

When you do this, you will see in the edit screen that opens that the numbering of the quote has been changed to a B version. You can now edit the quote, add elements etc.

In the list view you can also retrieve the other versions of the quote. You do this by clicking on Add.
