Designer sync issues

Question

The Desktop Designer isn't syncing resources from the Cloud environment. What could be the cause?

Answer

You can work around the issue by resetting the sync using the following steps :

  • Close the Desktop Designer (please make sure the Designer process has stopped, you can check this with the systems TaskManager)

  • Remove the workspace containing the .~syncmeta folder
    (for example C:\Users\<user>\scriptura\workspaces\pvgasse-draft\.~syncmeta)

  • Start the Desktop Designer to restart the sync

The Designer log file should contain more information about what the issue could be. Please send the log file to our ServiceDesk team via [email protected].
(C:\Users\<user>\scriptura-19.04\logs or C:\Users\<user>\design-compose-21.04\logs)
