Why is Usage Analytics information sent to Unifiedpost and what does it contain ?
Answer
The Design & Compose license model was designed to maximize flexibility towards heterogeneous environments. To facilitate this flexibility Unifiedpost needs usage feedback (the number of credits that are being used).
This feedback is in no way linked to private information and only contains data necessary to monitor general usage of the server and automate problem solving under the license agreement. The License agreement can also be downloaded from our public website: http://www.inventivedesigners.com/about/legal .
The zip that is sent to Unifiedpost every day contains :
the license that is being used (without the customer private key)
an audit log with for each entry : date, sequence number, number of credits consumed, license category, context of the credits, cumulative hash
keyserver dir from the home dir
At this time the audit log reporting cannot be disabled.
