There are a few steps to search a deal:
Click on Deals submenu from CRM module.
From here you have two posibilities, search a deal by it's name by entering deal's name inside Search box, or search a deal by other options.
Top search a deal by other options you have to click on one of the 5 fields then click on the given options.
For using calendar you just have to click on Start Date or End Date field then click on a date from the calendar.
