If you go to "Integrations" in the Settings module, you get an overview of all possible accounting integrations. When you click on one of the active integrations, you can set up whether you want to export invoices automatically and with what frequency.
For the frequency there are 4 options:
Manual: for more info on how to do this manually, click here.
As soon as the invoice is sent to the customer.
The invoices are exported automatically every day during the night.
The invoices are exported to the accounting every weekend.
Depending on the integration, you can only export sales invoices or both sales and purchase invoices.
